Nature Calls

Figured it was time to dedicate a blog to this Cthuluist beckoning for the natchurell surroundings. You might say it's like an obsession of sorts but it's all good and definitely lots of dirty fun.

2006 Outlook

2005 marked a turning point for many. It was a year generally focused on health and fitness. With all of life's excesses it was a nice change of pace and a great goal to shoot for.

For me, the hard work and dedication led to the resurrection of the annual New Year's eve hike up to "God's Country". As the name implies, the trail leads up to areas unspoiled by technology where serenity, peace, and simplicity mark the landscape. If not for the adoption of fitness, hiking and most outdoor activities would have been relegated to distant memories.

I started my renewed trek in the early months of 2005. At the time, there was no goal or motivation other than the need to cut back. By mid summer I had a goal in mind and just needed help in formalizing it. Thanks to two key players I was able to accomplish that task - KT for hiking and Killa for lifting.

It has been a fun process over the last 5 months or so. Hopefully it will continue throughout 2006 with a greater scope of trails, challenges, and fun!
